Zane Tyler is an actor soon to be based in New York City. Zane grew up on a small farm in Gray Court, South Carolina. He spent his early life surrounded by animals, which is an experience he is so grateful for. His love for all animals (but especially cats and sloths) remains to this day. He fell in love with theatre at the age of ten and hasn't looked back. He's the sole artist in a family full of scientific minds.
Zane's choice to ultimately pursue theatre as a career came after seeing the national tour of Les Miserables in 2020. It was the first professional production he'd ever seen, and it absolutely blew him away. Being able to provide that inspiration for others by performing in a national tour instantly became a dream of his. So he worked and worked on his craft, going on to receive his BFA in Musical Theatre at the South Carolina School of the Arts.
Zane is about to set out on his first professional contract in a principal role this summer. But that's just the start. After that contract is over, he plans to move to New York City to begin auditioning and performing full-time.
